Shōtoku (正徳?) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō,?, lit. "year name") after Hōei and before Kyōhō. This period spanned the years from April 1711 through June 1716.[1] The reigning emperor was Nakamikado-tennō (中御門天皇?).[2]
